I visited the Marimekko flagship store in NYC this week and got myself this book. I am a fan of all things Marimekko and a fan of inspiring colorful books. On my table this morning. .. + some fun experimenting with materials found at home to create interesting textures and effects. You'd be surprised how cool bubble wrap can look on paper or fabric once you splash some color on it.
